Hey all, So, I'm about to graduate and return to NYC permanently. This is a time of great joy and celebration. But there is one aspect of my life up here I will miss, and thats my gaming (as in pen and paper roleplaying gaming) group. So, to help me get over my loss, I'm looking for friends who might want to game in NYC. So anyone who might be interested in playing some roleplaying games with me, let me know. I'm open to most types of games, and since most of the people who read this know nothing about roleplaying, I'm also open to taking on newbies and teaching you about it. In the end I'm looking for some friends who want to play for four hours or so once a week, probably on a weekday night... but anything is up in the air right now. So, any takers? So... On Christmas day my brother gave me his old iPaq h3800 PocketPC PDA. Its a few years old, but it was top of the line in it's day and should work great even now. He even had a strap on extra battery and WiFi connection. Only problem was he could not find the AC adapter to charge it. I found one on line, a usb charger/syncer, and bought it. It arrived today. And the batteries, both of them, refuse to charge! I feel like poopies. There is a replacement battery online, but that costs 35 bucks. And it also might just be a bad charger (though the unit turns on when its plugged in, running off the plug). Getting a better charger will cost 15 bucks. If not for the fact I just spent 30 bucks on a 2GB SD card for it I might just give up. Sigh... Current Location: 770 Broadway, New York, NY 10003 I am: depressed

To my friends in open/poly/non-typical relationships: A friend of mine recently started a open relationship, and it was a new experience for him. He was a bit worried about keeping track of who was ok with his partner, and what keeping in the know on what (aka who) his partner was up to. So he created a Yahoo group for him and his partner to store all that information. This got me thinking. What if there was a site designed to help non-typical relationships along. I know that usually times poly/open/etc relationships are a whole deal more complicated than normal relationships. So why not make a site that allows people to define relationships, set rules, and show link to other people as well as permissions to said people. There could also be a log of what you have been doing and such. Another use of this site might be to allow others that you trust to know about your open relationship. This might help people who want to set up double dates, parties and such. Anyway, since I got a lot of people who are involved one way or another in non-typical relationships in my journal, I was wondering what you think of the idea? Do you have any comments or questions, and do you see yourself making use of such a website? Tags: inquires Current Location: 770 Broadway New York, NY 10003 I am: thoughtful

There's at least 1 person on your LiveJournal that wants to date you or sleep with you. So lets play........ FRIENDS w/BENEFITS The rules are simple... If you want to date the person who posts this send them a msg saying "I want to date you" If you just want to sleep with the person and stay friends, send them a message that says "Let's have sex some time, OK?" SCARED??? You ONLY live ONCE! THETWIST IS YOU HAVE TO REPOST THIS!!! (if you want to of course, but whowouldn't???) & see who replies, there is at least 1 person on yourLiveJournal that wants to date you. Comments not screened(C'mon, balls out, people! Also, if nobody responds to this, I'm manenough to take it...), but I did make it a friends-only post. Ofcourse, that's my friends, not necessarily yours... I am: curious

So, I've been playing around with my new web cam and headset. Mostly been talking on some public chats, but only have so much fun on there. I tend to have a lot more fun just chatting on my World of Warcraft chat server with my guild mates. This is because we have a bunch of things in common, aka Wow, computers, games, and furriness (tis a furry guild). But I was wondering if any of my RL friends also did this stuff, as chatting to them would be good (specially the ones far away from me). So who out there uses Video and/or Audio chat, via any software (Yahoo, Trillian, Camfrog, Paltalk, Ventrillo, Teamspeak, Skype, ICU2, or any other) Skype is on of my favorites for 1 on 1 chat, any my name on is Stoneliongorwl. If many ppl want to do a group chat thing, I tend to like Ventrillo, and would not be against hosting a server myself for the purpose. So... ya, get back to me. I am: curious

Okay, so here's the deal, find out how you end your life, the google way. Go to google, type "(your name) was killed by" and see what the end of life holds in store for you. Remember to use the quotations marks, else it wont work. Matthew was killed by a car as he walked home in Stowcum. Matthew was killed by a homemade bomb in a roadside attack in Khaldiyah, 60 miles west of Baghdad. Matthew was killed by an IED on November 15th, just 40 days into his deployment. Matthew was killed by a lightning strike while on a Boy Scout trip in the Poconos in 2002. Matthew was killed by a sword. Matthew was killed by a drunk driver. Matthew was killed by men who believed that hating people because they are different is something to be glorified. Matthew was killed by a Saturday Night Special. Matthew was killed by Indians during the French and Indian war. Stolen from freakylynx

To all my furry friends out there! I've started drawing again. Haven’t done so in over a year, so as you can understand I am quite rusty. Plus I was still developing my skills when I did stop. So what does this mean to you? That you might get a free commision. Leave a comment with a drawing requests, the more detailed the better. Give description and reference material if available, plus details on the pose and actions going on. So far my drawing ability has been limited to mostly felines in simple poses, but with this I willing to at least attempt anything. That is all. I am: creative

Ever have a moment, when your down and under a bit of pressure, and suddenly your realize something that just makes you feel so good that you actually shout it out! Well that just happened to me. I started off today late. Woke up around 2pm. Felt all groggy and stuff, specially with the knowledge that today is going to be a busy busy day. I got projects due and packing that needs to be done. Plus my money situation for the next week or two is going to be tight. But I get to work. First things first I have to go over to walmart. Last time I went there some extra things fell from the counter to the conveyer belt at checkout, and I wanted to return them. Done and done. Then I do some food shopping there, and on my way out realize I need some quarters for laundry. I put most of my shopping on my card, but buy a candy bar sepereate and pay with a fiver, getting all quarters back. Return home, cook, clean, work, stress. I got 2 sets of questions due for Architectures. I got 1 set of questions due to V&V. I got a series of unit tests to perform for V&V. And I got some diagrams to draw up for Reqs and Specs. Add to all this the need to study for both a exam and a test tomorrow, and you can see just how stressed I was sitting at my computer. When suddenly it touch my pocket and all stress melts away, just for one tiny moment, as I declare out loud in my empty room. "Right, I got a candy bar!" :P I am: stressed

(If you get the joke in the title, your my kinda person) So anyway, I'm thinking of adobting a kitten. Weighing the pros and cons... Pros: My apartment allows cats (though I do notice a lot of dogs in the area even though they not allowed) Kitties are low maintence. There are always kitties needing a good home. I am kinda lonly being home all day long practically every day. And they just so darn cute! Cons: Will is lightly alleric to cat (He lives with them at home and can deal, so this is only a minor concern) When I move back to the city this comming summer and after college, I will have to deal with bringing my cat along. If I staying with kitty Anna might be a problem. While not that pricy, the initial cost and upkeep will take a bite into my bank account. Still, I think I leaning towards getting one... Now if only I can find a pure black kitten :P I am: contemplative
